This section of the site is dedicated to my son Matt. He races BMX bicycles.

BMX is Bicycle Motto Cross. There are 2 sizes of bicycle that race BMX.  These sizes refer to the tire size. Matt races a 20" tire and there is also 24" tire class called the Cruiser class.

Matt started racing at age 14. This is quite old for BMX, as my Grandson started at age 4. Even though Matt started late he has progressed quite well and is currently holds an Intermediate ranking with the ABA (American Bicycle Association). He will maintain this ranking till he has 25 wins. At that point he will progress to Expert. At some point he might go PRO. But let's concentrate on having fun at this point.
